What are our privileges?

We have just booked UC to Miami on a Z Class ticket. Are we able to use the CH and when onboard can we use the bar? If not a change of seats will be required as DH will be most annoyed he cannot use this.


Also if anyone would like to give us a few tips to enhance the experience we would be most grateful.

Yes, all UC pax can use the CH and also the bar onboard.

There are loads of threads about maximising the flying experience (not just Upper Class). This is one of the manin reasons the site was formed.

Your best bet is to read through some of the recent trip reports and see how others go about securing treatments, their favourite food / drink and how to maximise the Revivals lounge.

Many thanks for getting back to me so quickly. We are FC members and have travelled Economy and PE but have never been able to justify UC. When the sale came I jumped at the chance to experience this - I can now tick this off my bucket list.

were doing our 1st flight from LHR with Virgin (usually out of LGW)we did the same as you and got a great price on upgrade in the sales,don't forget you can also use the drive through check in

Hi, nemesis and welcome to V-Flyer.

The only "perk" not allowed to Z fare passengers is the use of the chauffeur driven car but as someone who has a connecting flight from another country, it wouldn't be available to me in any case. The rest such as the private security channel, the Clubhouse and the on-board bar are available to all UC passengers regardless of the bucket from which their UC fare came (with the exception that op-ups can't use the CH unless they are Gold members but that doesn't apply to you)

Just relax and enjoy your flight and as Nick suggests look at some of the trip reports which can be found in the Trip Report Index in the Toolbox tab at the top of the page. Don't look at just the flights to Miami but also at other UC reports from LHR and you will get a flavour of what to expect
