The edition of Hello in the clubhouse is the same as the last time you came through!

And today's theme is delays, delays, delays, to the VS3 / 19 / 21 and just waiting for a delayed boarding call for the 39.

Edit - yup delayed by two hours which is irritating enough, but added to by the typical break down in communication, one person says late arriving plane, another blames the computer systems. I really don't think VS gets it's act together sometimes.

.. the CH staff recognise you and ask if you want your usual, dark rum mojitos anyone? y)

Hope the delay doesn't drag on too much, could be stuck in worst places though :w

Ahh well I have sources and it seems an aircraft change is the cause ... so neither of the clubhouse reasons.

I wish I could drink, it's on to Milwaukee later, an all day workshop tomorrow, and back on Thursday. Oh and for all the Milwaukee commentators, you missed one big thing, it's Summerfest starting today and tickets acquired for tomorrow night!

That is a good one, enjoy your flight.

FYI the cheese on toast on the current menu is awesome.

Thanks Slinky... And I saw the cheese on toast option on Saturday, but was slightly put off by the spring onions on it as I dislike the taste of raw onion... If it's not that pronounced though, might try it anyway next time...

The girls on the desk at CH Joburg say hi and ask how the kids are whilst your favourite waiter sees you and before you've even sat at "your" seat has brought you an Amstel, crisps and asked if you want the club sandwich again or the burger as "it's not on the menu until tomorrow but we've just received them in so I'll get chef cook one up for you" :-) Honestly, I flight this route so much I know what country I'm flying over just by the turbulence!!!

After take off you are settling into your UC seat on DEL LHR and member of the national crew (not too many then) comes up and says "Hallo Phil the usual 50/50 G&T is it?"

No complaints though!

Another one:
