Flight cancelled.

First and foremost, this is not a rant. We were booked on VS027 on Feb 1st. I have received an e-mail to state that we have been moved to VS015. I know schedules can change. I just wondered if anyone knew why VS027 is not operating on this day?

Doing a quick look at the loads would say they are amalgamating
both flights

Thanks jodash. Given the time of year, i half expected that loadings may be the reason. Oh well, at least in Feb, i should have a reasonably good chance of getting a refurb. 747-400.

VS quite often merge MCO flights during the quieter periods, and Jan/Feb is a prime period for that.

VS have been busy during the last week cancelling and merging several flights towards the end of the year and into 2013. One such casualty is Tuesdays VS073/074 during November/December which have all been cancelled.

Im going next September 2013 on the vs015 upper class? This wouldn't be changed would it? And I do hope I get a refurbed plane to with a decent IFE!

Well slow and all as the refits are tending to be, I'm sure they will all be completed by Spetember 2013 (says she crossing fingers big time!!). :w

September seems to be a good time for people who want sun and a reminder of what summer is supposed to be and a flight not dominated by little treasures so I doubt if there would be a cancellation

We received an email yesterday we are on VS074 1 Jan which we have been changed onto VS076 A330 they have changed the flight times too.

Have flown with VA for the last 10/11 years never had a problem always been spot on. Not a happy bunny at the mo as we are not keen on the A330.

Will have to see if we can re-arrange will let you know
