Hey all

Does anybody know anybody within VS that could pass on a message to a fellow passenger who I met the other day on a VS flight?

Yes I did wimp out on the day :-(

Welcommen bienvenue welcome ... is there a Craigslist for VS?

Sadly for the OP, this is not a VS service, it's independent, so probably no can do and in any case, wouldn't there be a privacy implication!

Not a bad first post though :D .

A bit embarassing as after all this she probably doesn't even fancy me. However I must have thought I had a chance otherwise I wouldn't be kicking myself.

If she read this she would think I was a real creep, however it's just that we were having a great chat and I have been kicking myself ever since.

Cheers for your replies

If so should I delete the post?

It's a shame the world is such a big place, isnt it. any help would be appreciated.

It wouldn't freak me out if I was young free and single :) (I'm assuming she was??) . The world isn't a big place anymore :) . Like I said why not try over on the DIBB?

That's the annoying part. We were talking about each others work and what it involves etc, then about the In flight entertainment etc. Just general chat really. I didn't ask the important question of, what's your number. She asked where I lived but I'm such a shy, brain blank person (In this situation) I didn't even find out where she lived. Although I do know it's down south. I know what you're thinking South England is a big place. (your telling me).

She was a great person, interested in what I was telling her (I hope) and I really enjoyed meeting her.

I certainly got the impression that she was single. That really would be a nightmare if she did have a boyfreind and he posted on here wouldn't it. Lol

Thanks for making me feel not so weird.

How about a discrete post on the VS FB page?

Might be worth it and will be far more entertaining than most of the posts !

tontybear, Thanks for that, it might be a good idea. I will look into it.

Is there not just a simple way of telling VS or someone else what seat number I and she was in and ask VS to pass it on. I could see why they wouldn't give me her details etc but I would just ask them to forward it on.

Afraid not. there are all sorts of data protection rules and whilst your intentions may be entirely honest how do VS know that?

I hope you don't mind me asking but what makes you think DIBB will be better?

I can't believe what I've gotton myself into here. I am just sad to think it's not going to work out, as what are the chances of her reading any of this on whichever website I go onto. I felt that my only chance was to get someone to forward the message for me. Thanks anyway and please do keep all your excellent suggestions coming.

Cheers

For one the membership is much bigger and tends to be more Disney/ Orlando specific. Given your flight was back from MCO there's more liklihood (IMHO) that someone might recognise the lady you'd like to contact. I don't know if she was travelling on her own or as a member of a family group/ party. Why not sign up over there and post a question ( you can obviously put in as much or as little information as you like). What do you have to lose :) ?

PS I so want this to have a happy ending :) .

A true new age rom com. I can see Hugh Grant all over this. I am a great believer in fate, so you never know... If it's meant to be... It's meant to be. I have just returned from the us and watched the adjustment burreau. Written in the stars maybe. I also think an emotive love song should accompany this thread! Good luck 747 dude!!
