Ahh, my way of writing - only the usual bar on board, although it was stocked quite more than normally and had Cleo's tequila punch and other choices. The hospitality gents were running bars at other events during the trip.

So they allowed PE passengers up to the UC bar?

UC and PE were block booked for the trip, so it was an unusual circumstance but yes. There were no FFP in PE, and some of the group were in Y and they too came to the bar. But, don't expect this outside of any similar one off .

Odd then that they catered PE with PE food -- you'd have thought they would provide UC fare for such a group?

Thanks for that slinky. What a fabulous trip - loved the snow on the beach. I suppose if they had asked me really nicely, I might have been persuaded to tag along.

Slinky - to answer your question ; I stay further down the coast away from cancun and playacar , that part of the coast is far too built up, I prefer to stay down in the Akumal area , much nicer , more chilled and I get to snorkell with turtles on a daily basis

Even after a google I have to admit that I have no idea who this person is. Much the same as when the replacement for Chris Moyles is announced or I when I fail to get up quickly enough and catch sight of a lottery draw being compered by somebody I'm evidently supposed to "know".
