Never travelled with UC sharing upstairs with Y.
What do you prefer ?

My thoughts -

Quieter upstairs but does the economy affect the UC experience ?
Do you get as good service upstairs as downstairs ? Plus I am a fan of getting my own drinks (which I get a few :D ) as I dont like asking and does that mean a trek to the back and queueing with the Y.

Downstairs I guess you have the full quota of FA's and the bar but lots more people to serve.

Thanks

I must be lucky with LAX immigration so far - not had problems with queues or anything even travelling in Y or PE - plus no problems when I tell them im just meeting my gf who I met in Vegas :D

I have already put myself downstairs I just like the upstairs with BA's Club but the whole split cabin thing bothers me slightly so checking that it is poorer.

I guess upstairs is great if your in eco though!

Just not looking forward to LAS - LGW, I assume they still dont have AVOD on these planes in UC :$ But when using airmiles for travel end of july/aug not many options to get the the west coast really! Beggers cant be choosers. Just happy I can use my miles for something worthwhile :)

You might get lucky. There are two refurbished LGW aircraft now in service with the latest JAM IFE installed.
