Sketch Restaurant in London

Hello All-

We are traveling to celebrate my companions 50th birthday in late August and have been looking for a great restaurant to celebrate. We found Sketch Gallery and I wanted to know if this would be a great choice.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It is nice but not wonderful - like many of the 'talked about'restaurants.

There is a very nice family run restaurant very close by PATTERSONS that I find much less pretentious and more welcoming

Sadly Pattersons closed for good last Friday

Depends on what kind of food you are looking for too - there's a lovely restaurant round the corner from Sketch called Goodman, mainly a steak (but what steak!) house.
