Hi all, first TR withh your good peeps so here goes. Vs073 6th July

Managed to complete OLCI on the morning of the flight, as the system appeared to have some gremlins in the night before.

At the airport no queue in premium but plenty in economy. The girl on desk said it was a full flight as attempted to get bulkhead but was told its an awful flight and she didn't appear to want to move us. I get that and I'm sure sure she may have had busy morning,  but I wouldn't be saying its an awful flight.

But I was happy with 78a/c anyway.

We Boarded with an hour before the flight was due to take off, appeared captain was going for an early slot.  Was happy to be in the bubble but a little surprised with mix of the group in the bubble. Cava or oj for pre take off drink.

In the end we was 5 mins late with take off and had a full load of 450 on board.

Took a little extra time for the seat belt sign to come off and even cabin crew had to make a phone call to ask why it was so long.  Seatbelt sign off about 20 mins and crew we're quick off the mark with drinks.

The only think that went wrong was our in flight food menu was for the return journey again crew realised and changed them.

Menu was chicken, lasagne or mushroom risotto, good for me I like mushroom, oh dear for the wife she hates mushroom.  Both chose lasagne which came served In a dish, with brown rolls, ( always a bonus to have brown bread ). So I had double helping of mushrooms with lasagne.  Lasagne was well presented an enjoyed.

Dessert was chocolate cake again went down well.

Soon after plates were collected and we were left to relax watching movies. Crew came around twice more with drinks, shortly before landing we were provided with cheese sandwiches on white bread, it was okay just don't like white bread.

Also a couple with a young child was getting ready for up coming Olympics down the aisle, much to tr announce of some.  I wasn't that bothered as too engrossed in my movies.

Captain came on saying we were an hour ahead of schedule, always a bonus getting in early.

Landing was for BUT captain came on to say four planes had just landed at the same time and we might have an issue in immigration.

So we attempted to get our belongings but just before getting off we were told to sit back down, I thought it was too good to be true.  Back in seats for now it was, it was a total f 45 minutes sitting on the plane before getting off.

Immigration was slow 2 hours it took to get through.  So that hour was lost.

Manage to get through car hire company without No extras needed stood my ground.

Got to car lot and it was chaos, 4 cars left and me arguing saying I wanted a dodge charger/avenger and the woman saying " you ain't getting one honey, just pick a car".

So with the wife seeing me getting ready for victor meldrew moment, so jumped in the middle of the car park road and halted an employee with an avenger and said "that is our car".

It was funny to see, so we just got our car from my wife car jacking the employee before he could park it up.

Luggage in case and off to Orlando for the first part of our road trip.

One final thing crew in bubble were very good, female was called ***, can't remember makes name.  Both though really good service throughout.

Thanks for an excellent inaugural TR y) y)

Whilst your check in and on board experience seem to have lacked the VS spark, to have such a wait to get through Immigration, must have made those seem an absolute breeze in comparison :0 :0
