Looking through the winter schedule it looks like lots of the MAN-LAS flights will be operated by an A330 rather than a 747.. Is this the first time VS have not flown a 747 to vegas? At least there'll be more J seats available!
That depends if they use a 3 config A330 or one of the 2 config ones that are operating the MCO flights currently!!
It will be a 2 config plane so no J class!
It was the Manchester to Vegas flights which were cheap last christmas in the 1k upper sale, less so on the Gatwick (I had to move my Gatwick PE to Manchester to get Upper).
Oh no, can't believe it'll be a 2-class config - is J not popular on this route then?!!
There is a week, around Christmas, still being operated by a 747 so you may still be in luck if you're planning something similar!..

Yeah but its Manchester to Vegas, so a week really means two days...

I guess they are just utilising the fleet in the best manner. LAS during December isn't as popular at MCO so maybe they feel the 747 is better used on the MCO route.
Obviously the Xmas/New Year week is very busy for LAS which is why they are probably using a 747 then.

Having been there three times, once winter, once early January and once in December, and all fine weatherwise, I do wonder why people want to go there when its baking hot though...
My sister went there around that time, and she hated the place. I think I would too...
Not a change of plane a change of time too. Now departing at 09.45 am
