Hello all!
I just finally used my miles for something good and booked a 'free' flight from London to vancouver and back from SFO to London (october to november).
I've flown quite a few times with Virgin and always in the UC but i've never seen this config i've got now from LHR to Vancouver. it's a Airbus A330-300 (3 cabin). I've googled a bit and is this one of the new planes/new configs? Because when i was searching it says it only does Eastcoast flights and last time i checked vancouver is as close to the westcoast as it can get
. Anyway, is it a 'almost sure' thing i get that plane if it says so in seat map right now? If so: it looks like my favorite seats aren't there anymore (the ones where you look against a wall instead of other passengers (i love you all, but i like it when i can just stare at nothing while flying
). I looked at seat ratings on this site but not much ratings appear for this config so i wonder: what are the best (privacy) seats when you fly alone?
*note: unfortunately i only noticed after booking that for miles-tickets you don't get tier points which means because i booked this one with miles instead of money i will lose gold
! Note to self: READ next time
