...anyone else wish Virgin had done something like this? Also, first part of the video show's off their plans for lie-flat seats on the transcon routes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20zshmYxhLw&feature=youtu.be

Their new int biz bit is later in the video when they show off the plans for their new 777-300.

Good to see them investing and looks great, hardly original though, AA is now doing what airlines such as VS started ten years ago!

You're not wrong, the transcon development is pretty interesting. Still, looks like a good product.

It's the CX biz seat, most definitely a good product. I also have found the AA service and food superior to the other US carriers. It's just going to take a looong time to see refits done on all planes. Of course by doing this now they get the benefit of choosing a style of seat that can leverage from the many years folks have been doing flat beds in C, but it is indeed surprising to see AA make this change now, rather than in their last refresh, when UA and Delta started their refits. In practice they missed the boat here, unfortunate as in other respects their product is superior to the other (legacy) US carriers IMO.

Agreed about facing the windows, looks like a nice product. Post bankruptcy AA, which will almost certainly be merged with US, will be a very interesting beast.

AA are also installing WiFi in all their cabins unlike that stupid aeromobile system VS seem to think we all need but nobody actually wants.
