VS31 Calling in at BGI Tomorrow 27-Jul

I've just received an email notifying me of a 3 hour delay in arrival at St Lucia tomorrow on VS31, with same departure time as before. When we were doing twilight check in we heard VS staff offering incentives to BGI passengers to move to a different flight that would be doing a "double drop". Can anyone in the know enlighten us as to whether this is the reason for our elongated enjoyment of UC?

The VS29/27Jul has been downsized from a B747 to a A330. Obviously the 29 was very busy so the only way to minimise the disruption and get everyone out would be to make the VS31 do a double drop.

Hard call from where we are standing I guess. If the the 31 has seats then I guess a select few will get UC as planned. With a capacity of 14 I really think the impact will be minimal. Hopefully some will receive a call out to give them some options. Maybe move them onto BA or ask if they wish to go another day. Failing that there will have to be some downgrades!!
