Transferred from Tesco, no sign. Now transferred from Amex and failed - they're saying VS aren't accepting miles transfers. Just wondering if it's only me or a general VS IT issue? If it's the latter has anyone been advised when it'll be resolved?
AmEx MR transfers are normally almost instant now. Have you tried logging out and then back into your FC account?

Thanks for the replies. It appears that no Amex transfers worked in the last few days. Apparently it may now be working but my miles are still stuck in limbo. They're going through it one transfer at a time to resolve but they don't know if they will go back to Amex or credit my VS account and when. Brilliant v(

I had same problem yesterday. Miles left Amex, not accepted by Virgin, and lost in limbo
Nice man at AMEX sorted it within 15 minutes

Thanks Peter, were the miles returned to Amex or credited to VS as originally transacted? The VS agent I spoke to had no idea which would happen (and Amex said it wasn't their issue to deal with).

Thanks Peter, you obviously speak to the best! I really needed to book today so I took the plunge and transferred my remaining miles ... Failed! Rang Amex, who re-credited and they tried again ... Failed! Rang Amex who re-credited and tried again ..l success! So, finally I have the flights booked, who knows when I'll see y original points again (or even in whichever account!)
To assist anyone else, it seems from the error detail they're seeing that the VS IT system is flakey and the transfer from Amex is mostly timing out.
