I am flying tomorrow (well today by the time you read this) on the VS-004. I was hoping it would be the new A330-300, which it was when I first selected my seats. But now it is the A340-600. Hardly the end of the world although had I known of the change I would have gone online made sure to get a seat in 1-7K.
I am wondering if this is a permanent change or just a random need to adjust aircraft? What makes me more curious is that on the way out on 28 July on the VS-003 we were delayed over two hours because there was a tech prob preventing fueling (also kept the A/C from working, which made the plane boiling hot inside). So wondering if the tech fault was serious enough to take the A330-300 out of service
