Hi

I'm flying on VS005 tomorrow. I've just tried to check in online but it's not allowing me. It says unfortunately you cannot check in online and need to check in at the airport. I'm a bit worried now and don't know what to do. Can somebody help me please? Could there be a problem with my flight?

It happens quite frequently and can be for any number of reasons.

Don't worry, just try and check in at LHR nice and early.

Should I keep trying? Is it likely to allow me to do it today? I'm travelling to Heathrow tonight, is it worth asking them when I get there?

Yes keep trying, it could easily change, but there is no point going to T3 tonight, they won't be able to check you in until tomorrow.

Many different possibilities.

You might share a name with someone on the US watchlist. Or VS might have decided to upgrade you! More likely it's just a technical glitch though.

Oooh upgrade will be lovely as I'm in premium. How many hours before check in do I need to get to the airport to guarantee our seats?

Don't get your hopes up, that's one of the more unlikely of any number of reasons. Like I said, most likely it's just a very dull technical problem.

3 hours should be plenty I would have thought.
