joeyc mentioned this in another thread so I went looking.

Found it in the FC T&Cs -- at 80TPs you now earn a one-cabin round-trip upgrade for two people. It seems to be treated as a reward, so presumably dependent on the same availability?

Just beneath it is confirmation of the 2000-mile renewal bonus for AG too, which was brought up here a few months ago.

Ahh just replied in the AU psych thread..

at240 wrote:Interesting -- I don't think this has been posted before. I wonder what the qualifying fares and conditions will be.

Having said that, 80TPs is quite a lot! I wonder what the renewal bonus will be, if not a compaion voucher.

Knowing VS I think it will be geared more to their corp flyers. i.e you will have to be travelling on an upgradable fare ticket (eg. W or S) and still have to pay taxes. I can see these vouchers are effectively going to be take the place of any miles you may use.

As for renewal bonus, the agent I spoke to didn't go into detail at what people got at 40TPs. Either it has not been shared with their staff yet or they have been told not to tell people - my guess is the former. How about a nice silver pen? :P or more than likely a milleage "bonus" - to keep people flying with them.. ):

Good bit of investigation looking in the T&Cs oo)

All revenue tickets (including agency-issued ones) are valid y) ; surcharges and taxes apply as normal. : n(

Looks like the companion voucher for AU renewal stays in place as before -- for now, at least. :)

Ha ha check out condition (l)

"(l) The 80 tier point cabin upgrade reward will be credited at the end of the Gold membership year. "

Looks like if you qualify within a few months, as some no doubt will, you have to wait until the end of your tier point cycle to get your reward. n(

Also looking at the 60TP bonus of clubhouse invites it says effective from September 2012, am I wrong in saying this was already a perk? ?|

Good spot and very good stuff VS. This is the best bit:

(g) The cabin upgrade reward can be added to any revenue booking including those made by travel agents and can be applied to Standard Flight Rewards, CombiFares, Miles Plus Money bookings and Companion bookings (including Virgin Atlantic Credit Card companion rewards).

So, sale fare in PE to LAX and an upgrade for two round trip ... that is good news! Now must wait until October!

I thought the AU birthday miles were only a UK benefit. I've never received any except for the first year when I called them about it and the following year I was told that it was only for UK members v( v( v(

Maybe they are trying to be diplomatic by not reminding some members of their age? :P :D

I posted last month that I got mine in July (pictures here too), so I'm not sure what they mean by this.

Not sure why it says this other than it's probably never been written before and needed a start date, I've had these for two years.
