i am dissabled so i need a bulkhead Window seat...it is a must for me to fly
Off to Las vegas next Feb so i know Virgin are doing up their
747's so that means no bulkhead window seats in economy...so i thought i will have to travel in Prem econ ....
phoned yesterday to special assis before i booked ...to be told...oh sorry Virgin are going to be using a A330-300 on that flight so there are no bulkhead window seats in prem econ only exit....she then said but there is bulkhead window available in econ....
great i said i will go book that now and ring you straight back.....
But don't forget they may change the plane...she said///LMAOOOO

so if i book econ hoping for a bulkhead window they may use a 747 which have none...or book prem... they may keep it to the A330-300 which have none?????

Has ANYONE any idea what i should do ????? ?|
can't afford upper class....
plus i dont want to get to the airport to be told.... sorry we have sat you in row ?? :0

thanks i know its long winded

We are flying to Vegas in March and have the same problem with one of our party. When I rang special assistance they told me we couldn't book seats until we got to the airport check in and it will be sorted out then as the bulkhead seats are not bookable on line and that they would assess my friends mobility and seat her as appropriate.

I really don't mean to be insensitive, but it sounds as though you have very particular requirements (for entirely understandable reasons). If BA can definitely accommodate them, then I suggest you book with them. I don't think anyone here will be able to solve the problem posed by booking with VS. The most important thing is that you travel to Vegas in a way that is comfortable for you.

I'd kind of take it as they'd bend over backwards to accomodate you on the day because you are disabled, so not worry about it...

I was more concerned with the 2 class 330 getting used to Vegas.

The 330 had bulkhead window seats in Y and W.

The new config 747 will only offer you bulkhead seats in premium.

On the 744 are only 2 window seats by bulkhead so if 10 pax turn up with the same bulkhead window seat request how do you suggest virgin manage the situation on who gets which seats???
