It's hardly a secret that new amenity kits are on the way.. Or is it?

If it has breached any forum guidelines in any way then please feel free to delete the topic.

I'll refrain from posting any further insider information in the future.

What a bl**dy waste of time...

Over the last few years I've flown many times in all cabin classes and have rarely used items out of the amenity kit.

I've said before, and will repeat my own oppinion that items should be made available in baskets or something, so that pax can take what they want.

I'd love to know what proportion of the amenity kits find their way either totally, or partically, into the bin - they are an anacronism...

C'mon VS, do something radical rather than re-inventing the tired old wheel...

Personally I'd like to thank you for posting the info and am grateful that you did and do post such info.

Just need to be careful with direct cut & pastes from internal sources for your own good is all that is being said as I now understand.

What daywalker said!

You haven't breached any forum guidelines but it's the method in which it is done

Understood - but I didn't cut and paste..This wasnt a confidential email, in fact it wasnt an email of any kind.
I re-wrote the key information in my own words as I'm well aware of the issues surrounding copy and pasting directly from internal sources. It's more than my job's worth.

OK, understood. I'm just acting in your best interests

Most definitely :)

I'd never do anything to put my job at risk.. Thank you for the concern though! (I've edited the original post to be ultra-safe)

Is there an email/message facility on v-Flyer? Discussions, like the 2nd half of this thread might be better done in private?

Only my tuppence worth.

Only my tuppence worth.

If you are talking about the bit about whether or not an intranet message should have been posted, there were indeed some discussions done via the messaging system but I also believe that it is valid that some of it is done on the thread itself in order to remind others about the advisability or otherwise about publishing something which perhaps should not have been put in a public forum

Yes, well said NH ^)
It is rather obvious sometimes that a lot is being said behind the scenes, and it is a shame because cliques are unattractive at the best of times.

25%? Really? Diabitic.org put it at about 4-5% rising to about 7-8% by 2025.

The polos are one of those items that used to be offered, but then were cut. They were a nice touch.
