Miles seats

Im looking to book a flight soon but the dates i want are still unavailable. Does anyone know what the likelihood of more seats using miles becoming available during june 2013 is????

If anyone knows the best time to look, i would greatly appreciate your comments.

It really is just a matter of checking on a daily basis. Some friends were looking to book using miles for March next year, I checked on a daily basis from the end of June, and every day a different date in March had different seats available but not the date we wanted. Anyway, last Wednesday I checked again and finally the dates they wanted were available so they booked them.

It seems there is no set system or logic as to how and when they are releasing miles seats, so it seems being persistent is the best way to grab some.

Of course it is worth remembering that not every flight will have reward seats, so that could be another factor. Where are you looking to fly, how many of you and what class of travel?

I personally do dummy bookings, but you can do it either way.

Thanks ever so much for your help, its only for me and looking to go to the USA next june, i wish they would release them soon, as i need a friday to come available at the end of june and throughout the whole month not fridays or weekends have been released. Its for upper class.
