From what I read of the T&C's, yes already booked flights apply as long as you sign up to the promo and before 15 October, and are registerred for the promo before you actually take the flight.

But as with all promos, keep the email stating when you signed up incase anything goes awry.

You get 4 bonus TP's (2 per sector) for the first return flight in the promotion. Then 8 bonus TP's (4 per sector) for the second return flight.

Thanks for helping, I've found a page in the offer online where it explains this. So I now understand that I'd get 10TPs for a rtn trip in PE, and 14 for the second one.

This would land me with 35 TPs at the end of my membership year, so 5 off Gold :?

How does this offer work if you mix cabins on bookings e.g. fly out PE and back UC? I assume that the first PE (K)/UC (Z) trip under this offer would gain me 5+7=12 TP's for the rtn trip?

Yep y)

This is really simple, add 2 TP per sector for the first flight regardless of class of travel.. totalling 4 extra for the return.. |:)

Then when you come around to do a second flight you earn 4 extra TP per sector regardless of class of travel.. totalling 8 extra for the return.. |:)

This offer basically gives you a grand total of 12 TP extra if you take two flights before end of Feb 2013.. All I can say is thank you VS y) y) y)

I would probably requal anyway, this gives me a shot at those new bonuses they have given AU... the 80TP reward vouchers... here I come :P

Show off! :o)

Since you do really not need the extra TP's xx( , the bonus miles is always nice.

LOL, might be the ones that take me over 200 though! Yes all extra miles are most welcome. Glad it's going to help several people.

Don't think so - it's on the home page so presumably open to all.

Anyone know if it applies to reward upgrades (obviously only to the paid segment)?

Not just corporate accounts guys. Got the email through twice, once on work email and once on personal one, I wonder if I can get the offer twice ?| no? pushing it?? Ha

It's also on the VS website - appears to be keeping up with the times, how strange :?

Wouldn't it be something if the offer wasn't limited to two return flights? And the TPs increase exponentially with each flight? ): ): ):

I think I've made a mistake registering for this offer before my next inbound flight in a couple of weeks.

My rolling year ends in December, but I've got three legs booked before then and enough tier points to attain Au anyway. However, I've got another return trip planned for Februrary and, reading the details, seems like I will then only qualify for additional tier points on one leg of that trip now.

I bought an "S" class ticket and used miles to upgrade to "G". I should still get the bonus miles/tier points right based on the "S" ticket, right?

I have a "L" ticket upgraded using miles to a "G" next week and the agent just told me to ring on my return to have the miles and tier points added for the "L" part of the ticket in the normal way and just mention you have signed up for the offer.

drat! Just seen this and flew out yesterday to NY on VS9 on an S ticket, so ddi fly on or after 3rd but only registered today. Guess nothing for the return on Friday's VS002 as only one sector flown after registering, but both taken after the due date.

Still returning on upgraded L tickets in Oct so they should qualify.

Keen to get Gold renewed!

Just had my bonus miles and TPs hit from my flight last night.

So - confirmation : the bonus miles (50% or 100%) are based on the TICKET TYPE MILES AWARDED.

So, if a flight is 5,000 miles... If your ticket type would credit only 2,500 miles (discounted economy) you'll only earn 1,250 miles extra. If your ticket type is a fully flex J (which would credit 10,000 miles) your 50% bonus will net you 5,000 more. (excluding any regular flying club tier bonus miles of course)

So, it's not down to *base miles flown* - it's a bonus based on miles EARNED. Makes it even better for those on flexible tickets, but not so great for those on discounted fare types.
