Me and my partner marry at the end of the month then travel from MAN to MCO on 3rd October for 3 weeks.

What are the chances of a bottle of complimentary champagne on board...or is this a definate no go?
I know alcohol is free but would love a bottle of MOET to celebrate!

Your comments would be appreciated :)

Highly unlikely...
Sorry to burst your bubble (pardon the pun), go expecting nothing..but harm in hinting and charm, you may chance a glass...
Honeymoon perks are very rare, especially things like upgrades etc...
Better bet if you want this to happen would be to pre-buy for inflight...

Congrats and hope wedding goes well...

There was a recent thread about this and the general thoughts were that to guarantee any "extras" you really need to get your credit card out.

You can actually pre order a bottle of Moet, which will be served to you at your seat, chilled, here http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/gb/en/th ... erapy.html

Hope you have a great flight and a fantastic honeymoon in sunny Florida y)

I think your best option is to pre-order a bottle of Moet but not tell the other half. That way it is a guaranteed nice surprise and really helps kick off your honeymoon without the awkwardness and uncertainty of getting something for free.

We recently flew out for our honeymoon and booked a bottle of Moet in advance. It's definitely worth it as it get's put on ice and is brought over to you in an ice bucket just before the first meal is served. We also got 2 souvenir champaign glasses from upper class (pre-filled with upper class champagne!) from the stewardess when she found out what the occasion was, but I guess this depends entirely on who you get as opposed to being a standard extra.

It's also worth mentioning that if you're planning do it as a surprise for your other half, if you order over the phone they will attach a personal message for you. How very romantic ;)

As others have said, it's far better to part with £30 and know you're treating yourself, as opposed to hoping you get something and then being disappointed.

Have a great honeymoon!

Thanks for that Jaybee y)

Could not agree more with the advice of booking in advance and not being disappointed
