Hi all,finally booked trip to new York on 17 nov ,going out on vs 45 and back on the vs 46, thanks to everyone for the advice a couple of weeks ago,would love to have been going UC but just couldn't afford it so we are travelling PE but I'm sure it will be great.Any advice on seat numbers ?

Hiya blacky1, I've done LHR-JFK twice now, last time was PE. Am I correct in thinking you'll be travelling on airbus rather than 747? I know everything seems to be a bit up in the air (so to speak ;) ) at the moment!

Err nope, the VS 45 and 46 are usually run by the 747.

Blacky1 I would say check out the Seat ratings in the toolbox section, might give ya some idea on where to sit PE wise. On the 45 I would suggest somewhere towards the front of the cabin, JFK customs and immigration that time of day is usually very busy. 8D

Also avoid the window seats in rows 34 - 36 (I think) because these don't actually have windows, just a bit of aircraft wall.

As far forward as possible is always my mantra.

Hi all, Thanks for the help,I've selected seats 32 a a& c ,I'm going to try for an upgrade at the airport ,we will see what happens
