Hotels at Newark.

Flying Home on the VS018 from EWR at 8am in a couple of months, Just looking to book a hotel at the airport the night before, Would welcome any suggestions from people who have previously done the same?

Marriott over the road from terminal is the best bet.

Another vote for Marriott - 5 min walk from the terminal or free shuttle.

Make that a third vote for the Marriott, may not be the cheapest, but as it is so close you can get to the Terminal under your own steam

I would also go for the Marriott as it is so close to the terminal. It is not always cheap, but it is pretty reliable. The decor is grotty and the restaurant is comically unfashionable, but for a functional stay it can't really be bettered.
