So due to my company cutting back we can only fly Upper if a night flight back from the east coast. TBH I don't bother from Boston and JFK. I save the budget for more as by the time you are up, get settled..time to land etc, etc, etc.

On my check-in today I got asked by the check-in lady if I had a new Au card. I said "no". She went on explain that "Your card had expired." :0
I showed her the card and it clearly states expires 10/12. Would be fab if it did expire today, will make next years Au very easy as I have PE tonight to LHR and then a couple of LHR - SFO returns in Upper booked already plus the bonus tier points and miles.....

I got the lounge invite anyway so all :D :D 's
It does bode two questions

1. Is the card or the check-in attendant incorrect?
2. How do you check when your account does roll over for the year. It is a call? Just the card? Or do you just have to remember last year.

the expiry date shown on your card is normally the month after your current membership year ends

my year is up on 30th November, but my card says expires 12/12

Please note that the 'Expires End' date shown on your Gold membership card does not relate to your membership year. The date shown on your card simply allows sufficient time for you to receive your new Gold renewal pack
