Heading to LA next week and currently have this seat reserved, but wondered is this the best seat?

Checked Seat Guru and bits on here, but wondered what peoples honest views were?

In 3A on the way back at the moment!

I have had a number of seats on this type of aircraft and TBH IMHO (want to use another abbr. but can't!!) as long as I am away from the bar and toilets I sleep like a log when needed.
Think I remember 2A and so having more storage on a 747 not sure I remember anything special on the 346. Sure someone will pop up and correct me if I am way off the mark.

I don't really get the seatguru comment that 2A is a 'very private' seat - it's on the side where you are faced by the Ds, so you do get a certain amount of being overlooked.

If pure privacy is your thing, I've generally found 1D to be pretty isolated, although you do sacrifice the window. Otherwise, 3/4/5K are generally good bets (2K often regarded as being a bit too close to the lav...).

Cheers both!

I'd done the flight on 747 before in UC a few times, but never on the 346

Hadn't appreciated the leering possibility of the D's while in 2A! ;)

Had noticed 2K next to the loo and i'm a window person (Engine Watch!) so had ruled out any of the D seats.

Will try and nab 3 or 4 K!

Yeah, to be fair, I've settled into 9A as my standard now, but more because I prefer being on the port side! It's a useful hedge admittedly if you don't know which door will be used for disembarking as it sits between the two...
