This is my first trip report so please be gentle with me :D

So thinking this is possibly the biggest trip i'll ever make- my wedding (married in central park on 18th September). I wanted to make the trip extra special, coincidentally it was about the time that guest list was launched and talked about on v-flyer so i decided to take a closer look... £340 for a one way car for the both of us and clubhouse access is a lot of money in anyones book and I know there has been some debate about value for money, but, as it was such a special trip I went ahead and booked it. I'm very glad I did. I booked it as a surprise for my new wife- She was very pleased too :D

Ok so back to TR.

Chauffeur came to pick us up and was about 10 mins ahead of schedule, fine by us as we had been far too excited and were ready a good hour before we needed to be. chauffeur was super professional, very courteous, made great conversation and basically this will be the story of the trip. (with one very small exception) arrived at dtci having never done this before wasn't too sure what to expect. All I can say is wow! Check in agent was waiting for the car with boarding passes and luggage tags, she was polite but this is the very small exception, did her job efficiently but that was it, not rude just to the point which is why I only gave 4 stars.

After a very quick stop at duty free (perfume for the bride) it was off to the clubhouse, again wow. for first timers this place really is fantastic. Champagne in hand and breakfast ordered it was time to relax. Had a great time and to be honest didnt want to leave, especially after a relaxing massage. Unfortunately the time came and the flight was called, after checking on v-flyer we found that we were going to be on Mustang Sally for some reason mine and Mrs S' favourite out of the whole vs fleet.

Made our selves comfortable and had our welcome drink, think I had orange juice in the end. Can't remember what the flight time was but being used to either MCO or LAS knew that the flight would go relatively quickly. Once in the air service started and this is where things get really good. crew member came over and made reference to our wedding/honeymoon, this scared me slightly as I didnt know how she knew but quickly rembered that i told the agent when booking guest list ): . we were treated like royalty for the whole flight, after the meal was all cleared up i had lasagne which was really lovely Mrs S' had thai green curry which she said was lovely too and no mushrooms! Crew member went off to upper class to get a glass of champagne for us each, then came back to make conversation and find out when/ where we were getting married and made things very personal (in a good way) :D by this time we were just going over Boston so not long to go, crew member then came back with a whole bottle of champagne for us to take away (a gift form Virgin as she described it :0 ) FSM came round and I made sure I told him how good the crew were. Incidentally I did see the fsm a few times and the crew as a whole seemed very engaged with the passengers.

Vport worked well throughout the flight, this was a bit of a treat as used to 18th century Gatwick IFE.

Landed about half an hour before schedule got through imigration in about 10 mins and bags were already there waiting for us.

In conclusion as you've probably realised this was a superb trip, an e-mail to VS already been sent.

well done VS! y) y) y) y)

Thanks for the TR and congrats on the wedding. y) y)

An awesome VS experience by the sound of things, and thanks for reporting on the guest list package experience - A v-flyer first I believe.

Cheers for posting 8D

Hearty Congratulations on your wedding ^) ^)

Fab inaugural TR y) y)

Whilst you are right that there was a great deal of debate over the car / Clubhouse package, your experience has shown that for that special occasion, it may be worth it :D
The only trouble being that now you have been in the Clubhouse, like many a V Flyer, you will be spending every waking hour working out how to get in there when you next travel ):

Top marks to the Crew in adding those extra touches to your flight

Thanks for brightening up this dreary morning with such a "good feel" TR
