Fair play.
It is looking likely VS will leave their A380 options on the back burner, they have sold their place in the queue haven't they?
What about BA? Do they actually want the A380?

BA do, training is starting very soon (if not already) for pilots

My first solo transatlantic flight was PIK to YVR on a Wardair Jumbo - remember sitting at the window looking down at this tiny plane parked next to us and taking a few minutes to realise it was Concorde.
PIK used to host all transatlantic flights out of Scotland and there was many (Air Canada, Wardair, Canadian and umpteen charters) that flew daily to Canada.

Don't expect to ever see an A380 join the VS fleet is what I was told by a VS engineer. To the point they disposed of all their training material they'd been reading.
As for BA, very much so, joining the fleet next year and is expected to go to HKG first...I think. Will allegedly have a new club world specially for the A380...apparently. According to Australian BT who are usually on the money.
