Hi

Booked our flights for next year (new York, San Diego and Vegas) :D

Now started researching flights between New York and San Diego, it has been mentioned on here that JetBlue is a good airline, does anyone have an opinion

I also see Delta and AA fly, prefer to fly direct, that is why I am not considering virgin America

The date we would be travelling in Saturday 13th July.

Any advice is appreciated

Out of the 3, if you're flying in coach and don't care about miles, Jetblue is superior. They have PTV's at every seat.

AA has been getting their act toegether in the last couple of years, but avoid flights on their 757's. The direct flights use a 767 which is a little better, but not much. They do NOT have PTV's on this route.

DL can be good, but their terminal at JFK is very close to being 3rd world. They use a 737 that also has PTV's on this route.

Have a read of the above thread.

We flew with JetBlue in their 'even more space' seats. These seats offer priority boarding, security lines and 38" leg room for approx $65 per person. Well worth it in my view.

As long as JetBlue aren't way more expensive, using them would be a no brainer for me.

We've used Jet Blue many times when flying from Florida into JFK or Boston. Second to none IMHO y)

At present their advertised fares only go up to June 19, 2013 so you'll have to wait a bit before booking. Often their initial fares prices are quite high but they gradually reduce as time goes on.

The journey from JFK to San Diego will involve the US time changes and you'll gain some hours when going into PST :)
