Noticed that, also noticed that SQ owns a share in Tiger too.. Interesting developments over that side of the world.... now if only something as interesting would happen over in Europe 8D

According to the BBC, Virgin has agreed to buy 60% of Tiger Airways for A$25m.

So with Virgin increasing its presence in Asia & Oz it doesnt sound like an airline that is thinking about joining an alliance other that its own.

I wonder whether they will just buy a european airline and have done with it!
