My first TR and first trip PE, so please be nice!

We were lucky enough to fly out on the re-fitted English Rose, and be given bulkhead seats!
Through check-in without any problems, friendly staff with plenty of polite conversation. Straight through security, no queue and for a first neither of us set the buzzers, which worries me more than if they do :?

So, off we went for a wander through duty-free and got settled for a coffee before wandering to the gate. Boarding was delayed slightly, a problem with the PA system, but that was soon fixed and on we went.

No amenity kit on our seats, so pinched some from the seats next to us ( :| ) apologies if they were yours, but I don't feel guilty for it! Got settled into our seats with our pre-take off drink, found the screens for the IFE hidden away and mine was a little slack so you had to be careful how you angled it and, once it was stable careful not to nudge it or it'd drop back again! Mentioned this to CC and later the FSM came around to make note of it so it could hopefully be fixed, Mr B's screen had a screw sticking out of it! Not sharp thankfully, but could graze a knuckle, this was also noted.

No other problems, and the IFE worked throughout the flight without a hitch.

Meal served, no problems. The tray with the tablecloth looks like a faff for the cc, the member I spoke to agreed it was as bad as it looks, but I thought it was worth the effort. :)

Seemed like no time at all until they were announcing descent to MCO. On landing we were off the plane fairly quickly and making our way to immigration, which was eerily quiet! No queue! Stood waiting for cases for a few mins and ours were some of the first off, excellent!

Headed out to the car rentals, and huge queues at all the agents, luckily I'd already checked-in with Alamo so used one of their self-service kiosks, and within an hour of leaving the plane we were in our hotel on I-Drive, set ourselves a challenge for next time!

Lovely flight, for our first time in PE we thought it was worth the extra money for the space and the extra bit of attention. Not much of a problem with people hovering waiting for the toilet either which I was a little concerned about.

Thanks for the TR, I thought you were on the same flight as us on the 12th though, not the 10th? Were you on the AC or HK side?

The FSM on the flight was great, we have flown with her before and she really leads the crew well.

Thanks for the TR y) y)

Looks like you have been tempted (like many of us here ): ) into PE and will do anything possible to turn left from now on :w :w

V-Flyer has led me to smart tips to make that a reality :D :D

Thanks for the correction Neil, you were right! It was the 12th, changed in the title.

We were in 14A and C, meant to say, you also get a good peek into UC from there too!

Yes, left every time please! Trying to read up onto when's best to go next, and when you can get the best deals!

Thanks for your kind comments, might get around to the return TR soon... (not tonight though!)
