Oh that is just soooo...... beautiful

I notice a lot of people (e.g. Strickly Sat/Sun night) wearing the beautiful crystal poppies nowadays that you buy on-line from the shop and there are some lovely things on there, I've bought several of the poppy braclets for pressies

:? Wee bit ostentatious and, for me, not in keeping with the humility of both the "classic" paper design and the act of remembrance itself. However, I guess it keeps the money coming in, so each to their own.

At the Imperial War Museum they have set up a garden where you place a poppy that you make yourself, using a battledress button as the centrepiece.

Agree, but they bring in more money for the cause so I'm happy to pay it each year.

You can have one of the little wooden crosses put in the garden of rememberance at the House of Commons as well and you add your own message - lovely idea
