was taxiing out on a BA hop from LHR to MAN this morning when the captain annouced that a A380 on the northerly runway had taken a wrong turn while taxiing & got stuck, causing the runway to shut down whilst it was recovered :0

This meant the Southerly runway was being used for take off & landing. Luckily we were close to the front of the queue but there was a sizeable stack growing behind us.

Be interesting to know if the airline that caused this will be fined? The air crew must have been red faced :P
