I was going to ask the same question at some point as we're taking that flight next year, so thanks for the answer Slinky.

One follow up if I may. We'll be staying in Manhattan, so for what time should we book a car to be at the airport to be CH1 & 2? :D

I used to travel on the VS26 before it stopped and find it takes around 30 mins that time of the morning, sometimes more, sometimes less. If you plan on 45 mins then that'll be more than plenty.
