If you look in the Toolbox under Seat Maps and Ratings then 747 LGW 1 you will see where people have rated individual seats (if you click on each rating, you can also read the relating TR)
From my understanding all the seats do recline fully

Yes row 24 does fully recline, v nice in the bubble, spacious and quiet, but you have to fight your way to the stairs to get off quickly.

Downstairs also v nice in PE, and no fighting off the plane!

Thanks Ian6969, I did have alook at those but they give very little information perhaps its because not many people have flown the refits as yet.but thanks any way.
Thanks Bethanicus useful information but I still would like more feedback on PE seats.

I know what you mean, I still keep changing my mind in my head. I'm flying this time next week in PE and if I get a refit, I'm still not 100% where I want to sit. Have even thought of flying out on the lower deck and back in the Bubble LOL

What else would you like to know? If there's anything in particular, let me know and I'll do my best to answer.

I flew out downstairs in row 14, lots of legroom but quite busy being near the toilet and the galley area. Not enough for it to be a problem though (not to me anyway!)

Coming back I decided on the bubble to see what it's like, went for row 24 so I could recline in peace and not have anyone prodding the screen behind me! Even with a seat in front there was plenty of legroom for me (5' 7'' so not particularly tall).

I'm in a similar boat with PE. To ANU next year. Right now I'm thinking downstairs on the outbound to help with quick offloading for the passport queue, and row 24 upstairs for the inbound where it's more peaceful (in theory) and no issues with reclining.

Only question, which set of doors are used for disembarking - front or back of downstairs PE?

Hi Guys
Many thanks for all the info, I guess its row 41 back but we can't select seats outbound as yet because we fly outbound Jan 3rd

OK, my mind's made up - for a family of 4, it has to be 18/19 AC on the outbound day flight and 24 ACHK on the overnight inbound.

Let's hope I get lucky, as I guess it's going to be fastest out of the blocks 90 days out (which could be a bit tricky as I'll be on a plane back from a ski trip at the time, maybe could have planned that better...)
