Hi All,

Just wondering what your feelings are about 7a and 7k on the 747? Are they close enough to still have a conversation with your partner? I wasn't able to bag the two 6s. Or should we rather be next to each other, as on the other aircrafts? First time flying out of Gatwick and rather thrilled to be on a 747, after all these years. Always used to fly them home back to SA!

Any idea how to check if its a refit? Seats upstairs are PE and Y

Thanks

Personally up to row 8 we always go A & K.

As Paul says, the 6's and 7's A and K are close enough to have cross aisle communication without having to make the whole cabin aware of the content of your conversations.

If the layout upstairs is PE and Y then it's a refit.

I try to always get 6a &6k as there are perfect for couples and I personally like the seats! But on my Vegas trip in August I could only. Get seat 7a & 7k which was a bummer for me but the seats were also good as you can still talk and visit each other and sit on the ottoman.

Other than these seats I haven't tried out any others but to me are brill for couples.

I wi be trying to get the 6A & 6K for my September trip :)

Hope you find good seats!
