If he's not careful HL will have posted hers and the reaction to his will be "is that it? No idea what you are complaining about ..."

An on-line demand for mdvipond to post his return trip which I fully support. I don't want it clashing with mine. It's going to be a case of "I won't show mine until you show yours"! :w

Whenever they are written, I shall wait for both - put a long evening aside, get a bottle of Chablis in the fridge, and settle down for a very enjoyable reading session.

The value of HL's TRs (the asia jaunt for example, a priceless read), and MDV's TRs (Barbados, Tarquin, pink faced gentlemen etc), are equal - the style different.

Therefore, in my mind, there will be no better or worse, just damn good reads!

Now then, where are they? (I do fear that this extreme form of pressure due anticipation is causing writer's block - on second thoughts, this is HL and MDV we're talking about here....scratch that!)

11 flights? This will be an epic!

Sandy> What did the gods of airline travel do to the MDV party this time?

Now, back to mundainity until the shining beacon is lit and the TRs are posted.

It's getting to be like waiting for an 8th and 9th Harry Potter all at once

Eek. Just stumbled over this thread. Been a very, very busy boy I'm afraid. Thought I might have got away with skipping a TR for once, but clearly not. Will set to and get it finished soon. Promise.

To be fair, the Barkeep is quicker to post his TRs than some mods that we could shame. :w

Except the Barkeep has been home longer than our fair gin swigging lady of Eire!

The MTA got most of the subway (including at least 8 flooded tunnels) up and running a lot quicker than the Barkeep does in writing a TR!

Perhaps DA was referring to another mod - he of the grumpy disposition ):

I should like to put it on record that the "fair gin swigging lady of Eire" is in the process of writing hers

Sorry, no way could you have got away without a TR, why people on here are willing to support your business more themselves so you can afford to go away more, the only thing they want in return is the TR... Never mind, it will be the Christmas best seller - unless Honey Lamb beats you yo it...
