How likely is flight sale in coming weeks?

i know i might be jumping the gun here a little, but is it likely there will be a flight sale in the coming weeks ?
i could do with earning seven tier points before mid Feb to retain silver fc status, was hoping to get a discounted uc fare to MCO
i am planning to get away to Florida in January and i seem to remember there is often special offers in the run up to Christmas, any of you well versed forum members care to take an educated guess !

There is generally a sale very early in the New Year - or even around Christmas time. However .... given the limited number of UC suites to MCO - I wouldn't expect to see that route deeply discounted.

The routes / classes and dates vary with each sale, so we will have to wait and see.

MCO is not an airport I use, so others who travel that route on a regular basis may be able to confirm this, or put me right.

Post ny as Nick says often release, but wouldn't expect MCO upper...
.. but does Silver really warrant a push for....?
Unless you are flying econ there is no real benefit except a few extra miles..?
