I have never had a bad flight with them, food and service in all cabins has been consistently good. If I have to find a fault it would be that you don't get the fun/relaxed atmosphere of VS.

Excellent, bull rather characterless on board as has been said.

Is your leg to SIN on an A380 - that'll be ace.

Very impressed with standard of service on recent flights to the Far East. I was flying in business and the experience exceeded that on Virgin in terms of food etc.
One flight arrived in Singapore late due to freezing fog (in Munich!) and the staff on arrival made sure that nobody was left without help making connections. It seemed that we all got a personal service. y) y)
Understand that quality is very dependent on the crew as always!

As it happens, I'm in the main SG lounge at Changi Airport right now... Waiting for my flight over to HKG. I've only been with them in business class to date, experience has been very good food/drink, comfortable enough seats, even on the older planes. Service is a bit stiff though, as you might well expect from an Asian airline.

Minor niggle in that there's no bar, as I do like to stretch my legs... But otherwise a good option...

Flown with them numerous times in Y. Ideally, you want seats upstairs in economy section 71 - 82 rows. Food/drinks are standard. However, like all airlines drinks offering definately have been reduced. Crew can vary from subservient to abrupt. However, I prefer their more traditional approach than the relaxed often too casual approach on VS.(IMO)

Do you know what plane your likely to be on?

A380-800. Is that good or bad?

Excellent - it's a fantastic plane.

Isn't SIA moving to the variant of the A380 with all J on the upper deck from Heathrow? Certainly been the case on my flights.

Friends flew LHR-SIN-LHR on SIA A380 in Sept/Oct and Y was still available on upper deck. I conclude the rollout is still in progress.
