T2 Heathrow - Confirmed Airlines

Heathrow has confirmed the list of airlines which will move in to T2 when it opens in 2014.

This is every STAR carrier at LHR, plus VS domestic and Aer Lingus.

There are a few carriers (El Al, Icelandair, Cyprus Airways, Germanwings and Transaero) who's location is currently TBC. I suspect they'll be spread over T3/4.

BA look set to consolidate into T3 and T5.

I was never expecting there to be use of the VS lounge at LHR for short haul, but do wonder if they will provide any sort of limited lounge in T2 for shorthaul...

I'd guess that since EI will move their flights there, there'll be an Aer Lingus lounge for VS short haul use (if at all) ... depends whether short haul get to use Aer Lingus's lounge at T1 in the interim perhaps.

Virgin already in hot water with HAL after sending out a circular with false claims about T2. Didn't take long :-p
