Manage my Booking has just changed from the old Virginia Plain to a refurb plane with economy seats in the bubble.

Anyone had any experience of these seats? I've bagged the last two rows of three at the back of the bubble, rows 79 and 80, near the galley. We're a family of four so I've gone for window and middle seats in both rows.

Usually husband and son have an aisle seat each because they have long legs, but in the past when we've had a row of four near the back of the plane they've complained about not being able to get their feet under the seat in front due to an obstruction.

Wondering if they will fare any better in the economy bubble middle and window seats? I'm guessing they're going to be the same as any other economy seat, or are there any advantages?

Any other observations you have to share on economy bubble seats would be great, e.g. noise, access to toilets 9so we have to go downstairs?), whether you are served before, after or at the same time as the economy seats elsewhere on the plane.
(I realise the manage my booking request is still subject to change, just doing some research in case we do sit up there).

Thanks in advance.

i think (and stand to be corrected)
that the seats are excatly the same
the advantage is you will be first off the plane
the cabin is quieter than downstairs but some have said feels a bit cramped
you will get food quicker
and you use the PE loos at the front of the bubble (??)

We travelled PE upstairs in November. The EC passengers definitely used the 2 loos at the front of the plane. They were served food after PE. The EC cabin felt cramped and the overhead lockers are small, although there is wardrobe storage space at the back of the cabin.
My daughters are flying EC next Summer and I have suggested the bubble on the way out, to ensure a quick exit, but downstairs on the way home.

I flew on this config to SFO in August and thought that the layout and environment was great, a little exclusive. My friends and I didn't feel cramped and had CC looking after us. I would recommend it y) y)
