HI i had a quick look at sale fares here http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/gb/en/id ... class.html which confirms upper class to cancun pricing however when trying to book any upper class seats there is no availability for any time in march which seems a bit unlikely. Is it worth calling VS? thanks in advance
what dates are you looking at, I see UC prices 16th to 23rd March £1554
Also , I have discovered that if if there are no RETURN seats on your chosen date it comes up as no seate either way , for example I was looking at flying out 19th march , return 2 nd April . It was showing as no seats available ,( even though there was 7 seats available on the 19 th march , but fully booked 2nd April )
Changed my return to 4 th April and hey presto

cant seem to find flights for those dates even though expert flyer shows available seats. is this down to the upper class codes available?thanks
Are you searching on the VS web site for the lowest price option in UC or even presumably two seats? That'll be the reason, for example on 16 March outbound all the Z's are gone:
J2 C2 D2 I2 Z0 W9 S9 K9 Y9 B9 R9 L9 U9 M9 E9 Q9 X0 N0 O0
And for your return there's only one seat free in UC so if you're searching for two then you'll not get a response:
J1 C1 D1 I0 Z0 W9 S9 K9 Y9 B9 R9 L9 U9 M9 E9 Q9 X9 N9 O9
The same by the way appears to be true for CUN flights on dates either side of yours so again, searching for two seats might be the reason you're not getting an option.
