Hi everyone,

Really hoping someone can give me some ideas as to how I can search for availability LGW-UVF throughout Feb and March for two UC seats. So far, I go through day by day laboriously and coming up with nothing at all. Is there any way/site to be able to see a range of dates all at once? I just can't believe that every single seat has gone already... not even one?!

I will be using points for the flights (prize win - told they are going to load the points on my account)but can't search that way as at the moment there's nothing in my account.

I have a horrible feeling there's nothing left at all and I will be forced to accept PE or (horrors!) economy. (JOKE - it's a brilliant prize and I am totally chuffed and happy to accept anything!)

So any help at all would be gratefully received...

Many thanks, Virgin experts!

Wow, generous prize for enough miles for UC flights for 2...

Problem that you will find is that on the LGW fleet of aircraft there are only 14 UC seats and 'G' UC class reward seats are hard to come by..

If you sign into FC homepage and on the left hand menu go through to spend miles.. and then click reward flights. You will be able to search through the calendar for a date to suit yourselves... As I said above though there is very limited availability to spend miles in UC on these routes... you may have to settle for PE.

If the miles have yet to be credited to your account then the only option would be to give VS a call and see if they can help you out with some dates... got to be prepared to be flexible with the dates though.. low availability and high demand n(

Hope this helps 8D

Welcome to v- flyer :) . You don't have to have the requisite number of FC miles in your account to serach gor flights ( although you will need them to book the tickets lol :o) )- just follow joeyc's instructions. As joeyc has said the issue is more likely than not that there is simply no avilability due to the small UC cabin.
Can the prize issuer ( whover that may be) not just try and book the flights for you?
Don't forget there will be ( hefty) fees and surcharges to pay on top of any reward fare.

- Employer's yearly prize perhaps to clear their company mileage accounts? - Technically a tax liabiliy ): So need to get rid of the evidence....

- A generous friend in lieu of an Xmas gift to get rid of some miles..

- A charity competition that VS themselves donated a hefty bunch of mileage to..

- A company promotion to garner new business...

Quite a few options really.... if they are transferring the miles into your account there are limits on how many can be transferred and also there are very extortionate mileage transfer fees... If it is not coming from VS themselves I would advise the prize issuer to book the flights for you to avoid any probs y)

Hi guys,

It was a charity dinner auction and this was the one prize that was a straightforward raffle rather than something you had to bid for. Put it this way, I spent £100 on a raffle ticket and I was glad I did. I think I was probably the only person in that room who would never normally be able to afford to fly UC, so there is a God!

I would look at flying to Miami and using AA bit more expensive but then you get the use of the LHR CH and more availability, so more chance. Or maybe another Caribbean island and then island hop/twin centre.
As long as your flexible/creative with your routing it is possible to get Two UC G's

Hello!
Thanks, everyone, for all your help before.
Looks like I will be leaving for St Lucia soon, though coming back via Grenada as have really struggled to find any UC availability. I'll have to take a Liat flight via Barbados (cost around £120) to pick this up.... OR.... I could return economy straight from St L. So what would you do????

I'm with Tonty and DL..

For the £120, head for Grenada. It'll be an adventure.
