New York Aircraft Schedules

Hey there once again guys and girls.
I am usually here being nosy and satisfying a quest to know what all the diversionary activity is about, but this time I come to you with something a little different.

My sister and I are flying to NYC on May 9th and returning on May 14th. I have made it my mission to try and fly on an A340-600 for this trip (my sister just wants to get there and esxpresses no particular desire for any aircraft, so what I say is going to go!). I am wondering whether anyone knows what aircraft as scheduled to fly the VS3/VS9/VS45 JFK rotations at this time. I am assuming that one will be an A330, one will be an A340 and the other an B747.
If anyone could shed some light on this I would be really grateful, and am looking at booking tickets in the next couple of days so a heads up of what to expect would be great.

I know certain routes like Tokyo and Shanghai are exclusive A346 routes, but JFK is one of those with a little more uncertainty ?|

The VS3/4 is scheduled as an A340-600
The VS45/46 is scheduled as an 747-400
The VS9/10 is scheduled as an A330-300

Supposedly the VS3/4 will be a 346 but these things are subject to change so it is very hard to predict -- especially as NYC seems to be particularly prone to change at the moment.

Virgin have been refining the schedules and chopping and changing aircraft on the New Yorks.

Tokyo and Shanghai are not A346 exclusive routes. Tokyo currently operates on the 300 and Shanghai is on the 300 as of mid August for a few days a week.

Not forgetting the 25/26 or the EWR flights, currently on May 9th the following is planned"

VS003 - A346
VS045 - B744
VS001 - B744
VS009 - A333
VS025 - A333
VS017 - A346

So is it these days that the only exclusive 346 route is LHR-HKG-SYD? I guess with the withdrawl of three A340's this winter season, it has become a bit more diffcult to try and track them down. I am hoping everything will transpire in my favour.

I tried to find the schedules for VS25/26 on here but for May it wasn't kicking anything out? I just assumed these were seasonal JFK flights?!

Also, with the above web link for aircraft schedules posted by at240, how on earth do I actually search for a schedule?!
I CAN'T WORK IT! Lol!
