One will be done in time for the summer timetable, the other two in time for the winter 13/14 timetable starting.

G-VINE is the first to be refitted in March.

G-VSXY and G-VKSS will be refitted in September/October 2013
Plans are then to fly to St Lucia (Via tobago 2 days and grenada 2 days)- five times per week
as well as Antigua- four times per week. So great news for premium redemptions (hopefully).

I am wondering though if the long term plan might be to have the 330's on leisure routes but operating higher frequencies once 787's start arriving. Would mean they need a new widebody order for 787's or A350's though.

Anyone know what will service the GLA-MCO route as it has been the 2 config A333 outwith the summer school holidays where a 744 took over?

Wwings, you mention two interesting ideas.

Firstly, it does seem feasible for the A330s to based purely on the leisure routes after the first few 787s have arrived. However this is heavily dependant on what they do with the 787s, I believe they initially wanted to have an LHR plus a leisure config but after their A330 experience, maybe it would be a simpler and cheaper option to just separate the two aircraft. Also the 787 carries similar pax numbers to the A333 but quite a bit more cargo, making it more suitable for the far east.

On the potential for a new order, I think we are close, as if you read the article they are looking for deliveries from 2015 on. However, the only aircraft available that is big enough, by 2015, is the 77W, and that is selling out fast!
