Chances of a sale later in the year

I seek the wisdom of you seasoned VS flyers. I am planning on visiting Boston in Sept 2013 and although VS have a sale on now, there are personal events ongoing in my family which are making me nervous about booking a flight which I 'may' have to cancel nearer the time.

My question is - Do you think that VS will have another flight sale later in the year when my personal circumstances may be more stable? I intend to book a low price UC flight from LHR to BOS with a low price PE flight from BOS to LHR and can't afford to purchase the 'flexible' versions of these flights.

If there is normally a sale at some stage later on in the year, when approximately is it? Many thanks in advance.

Well yes we can 100% say with certainty that VS will have a sale (sales) later in the year but that does not necessararily mean that it will include your dates, route and desired cabin (or combination thereof).

You can probably count on something appearing around bank holiday times though.

Other than that it is worth checking the website on a regular basis.
