It is VTOP's birthday today. She is 16 today and what a better place to spend it than in storage. VS usually withdraw aircraft such as the 4 A346 before their birthdays so I assume it has been wfu now

One final stretch of her wings in Virgin Atlantic colours I guess before a re-spray and on to a new home. Some will be glad to see her gone as she was starting to look the worst for wear, other will remember her like me with fond memories being taken to fantastic holidays.Feels a little like a departing member of a family,a 747 family which we all know and love, god bless you Virginia Plain, here is wishing you a few more years of happy flying to come y)

That's the end for VTOP now. Goodbye VTOP. When she goes to MAN, will she be repainted white and where will it be stored while she waits for a new home

Good news. Now the whole fleet has a standardised PE cabin, more-or-less standardised Y cabin, and the UC cabins are the same except the new A330's.

Just the 3 non-AVOD A340's left before the whole fleet becomes AVOD equipped then.

As G-VTOP has now officially left the fleet, I am going to lock this thread.

Her details will be removed from the relevant databases in the new couple of days hopefully.

Thanks,
Neil
