options for Chicago in March

got a business trip to Chicago coming up in March & normally i'd use the direct AA flight from MAN-ORD which is handy & the AA Business class isn't a bad offering but it's nothing special & the aircraft are pretty tired.

I was wondering if anyone has experience of some of the other options i have, one is to go with Aer Lingus via Dublin, another is to go via LHR with BA or a selection of US carriers. I'd prefer not to transfer in the US if possible

How about DL? Think they fly to ORD from MAN and possibly BHX. Not sure if they use their top notch planes though.


Via LHR is also an option.

In the winter from London it's United, AA or BA.

The only reason I would consider going via DUB is if pre-clearance is available -- don't know and am too lazy to look! Otherwise I'd just fly via LHR (on BA) because the options are plentiful.

I abandoned my laziness and looked -- you can preclear in DUB to ORD, so that makes more of a case for that option.

Emirates manage too! (Admittedly that wouldn't be the most direct route to Chicago however haha)

I don't think Delta fly to ORD from MAN in March do they?
