got a business trip to Chicago coming up in March & normally i'd use the direct AA flight from MAN-ORD which is handy & the AA Business class isn't a bad offering but it's nothing special & the aircraft are pretty tired.

I was wondering if anyone has experience of some of the other options i have, one is to go with Aer Lingus via Dublin, another is to go via LHR with BA or a selection of US carriers. I'd prefer not to transfer in the US if possible

The only reason I would consider going via DUB is if pre-clearance is available -- don't know and am too lazy to look! Otherwise I'd just fly via LHR (on BA) because the options are plentiful.

thanks for checking on the pre-clearance.

i wondered about DL, i guess its too early to be able to claim points/miles towards FC?

Via LHR is also an option.

i don't think anyone uses their top notch planes for MAN :(
