free gift from flying club

Not that I want to bring this to anyone's attention as I like to ignore birthdays as the numbers get higher - but received a birthday card from flying club with a gift of 2,100 miles for my birthday yesterday.

Obviously to celebrate their 21st birthday and thought this was a nice touch. I was not aware that they had been doing this for their 21st year and apologies if this is old news to some of you.

If you click on the thread Michael gave, Freeway says it is effective for 12 months from June 05 - not sure if it includes both UK and USA though.

Er, Andy. I don't want to rain on your parade but in the link Freeway states it is for Gold members

My Birthday is coming up next week. Flying with VS on the day so I wait in hope for at least one Birthday card, which may be from VS..

Mrs B didn't get anything for her birthday, but she is only silver. Wonder if it is random. I think her birthday was the same day as the official VS day (22nd June), obviously didn't help tip the scales in her favour.
