There is a serious problem with the EWR clubhouse

Not had the pleasure of the new EWR CH yet.
Personally, I will miss the old one.
It was a gem for, a number of reasons. I liked the food that was served in the evening, normally good and a nice self-serve selection, it was land-side, means I pop outside without the hassle of security again plus it had it's own ambiance.

Still, I won't judge until I have seen the new one, may be soon

Not really my style, but I was hoping for a tonic after a heavy night of martinis, veal, and red wine ... Will await boarding.

Oh and they've fixed the wifi too.

ah, the old avoid a hangover by keep on drinking tactic.

I was in the EWR clubhouse a few weeks back prior to the vs18 and they had a sign up saying alcohol old not be served due to local licensing laws! Presumably with it ring so early in the morning!


I like slinky had this problem rectified straight after boarding!

We met at the JFK CH opening. Hope you are well.
Unfortunately the posts are correct. We are tied by local licensing laws at EWR so unable to serve any alcoholic beverages before midday.
