Nope, only K, S and W I am afraid.

VH fares are rather limited in the upgrade department unfortunately :(

How do I book a K fare. I seem to be able to only select S or cheapest on the VS site which is where the H is coming from ?

K fares are sale/lowest sold PE fares. Close to departure date you will see the S fares and W fares pop in as the 'cheapest' available. Where is the 'H' coming from?

As far as I know, H fares are only obtainable through VH - they are then the only ones who can upgrade it, upon payment of the very heavy premium for UC that is n(

Okay, sorry I missed the fact you were talking FlyingCo.
Yes, you can upgrade on fully published VS H PE flying PE fares with Flyingco miles.

Full FlyingCo T&C's are here

To add to the confusion, just put through a dummy booking in PE to NYC.. it is giving me H fares in the fare breakdown :0 :0 Have they reclassified the bucket or is this another VS website glitch?

Huh, I stand corrected... has that been changed recently too?

Dear lord I need to pay attention more, sorry JCBR :#

Remember Joey, JCBR is talking about FlyingCo miles, not Flying Club miles. You can even upgrade a K fare with FlyingCo miles.

For normal Flying Club members, itis still only a S and W PE fare that can be upgraded with miles.

Regarding H fares, maybe VS have decided to add another fare code for PE, they are messing about with them a lot at the moment, which makes it hard for us to keep up to date.

Good point.... when was the last time anyone saw a K fare? or has no one noticed before now? It is still included in the various pages of T&Cs so it is no doubt available somehow. (or they have not got round to changing them yet ii) )

Neil wrote:No, a K is still available and the lowest, it just seems that they have added an extra PE fare code in now, which is H.

Not trying to be difficult but are you sure? I have been experimenting and cannot produce a K fare. All the lowest fares I get are H. ?|

at240 wrote:Mea culpa -- I should have known better, sorry Neil. You are right. K appears to now be the sale-fare PE bucket, I think.

It isn't specifically the sale fare code, and is still just the standard cheapest PE fare code. PE sale fares will always book in to the K fare code though.

I'll try and get the info in the fare codes section updated when I get a spare few hours ii)

If you have an FC Au upgrade voucher then it says it can apply to any fare.

...and how do you get one of those babies?

You need to earn at least 80 TP's in one rolling year.
